Handmade Goods, Fresh Produce, and More Can Be Found at the Victoria Farmers Market
The Victoria Farmers Market provides an opportunity for the farmers to sell direct and take full credit for their efforts. Held every Saturday (rain or shine!) at the Pattie Dodson Public Health Center, market has fresh, locally grown produce, farm fresh eggs, local honey, pasture-raised meats, live herbs and other plants, baked goods, jellies, pickles, fresh ground corn products, handmade items and more.
Everything at the market is home grown, homemade or handmade by the vendors themselves and no resale/wholesale of any type is permitted. Vendors must live within a 100-mile radius of Victoria and possess all the state and local permits necessary to sell their wares. Most vendors accept credit/debit cards.
By shopping, customers are guaranteed access to quality, freshly harvested produce whilst supporting local farmers and directly putting money back into regional Victoria communities. Increasingly the public is becoming more conscious of its food choices and looks to VFMA accreditation as a signal that a market’s stallholders can be relied upon to be selling their own locally grown or made product.
Accredited markets have worked for the right to display the VFMA accreditation logo. As part of the rebrand of the VFMA, new logos and banners have been distributed to our member markets across the state. We hope that you shop with us this weekend!
Even though Autumn Park Apartments in Victoria, Texas provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!
