Experience the Music of Rose Short When She Comes to Victoria on Saturday
Budding star Rose Short is continuing to shine bright! The Voice’s season 17 top four finalists are now kicking off her tour, giving fans the full Rose Short Experience—and it’s headed to Victoria this Saturday, March 14th.
Rose started singing when she was 5 years old in Germany, where her father was stationed with the military. Growing up, she often performed at community events on the base. Her family eventually moved to Texas, where she became involved in choir and theater. Rose always loved music, but after school, she needed a job that paid the bills, so she took a position at a male maximum-security prison. Rose worked as a corrections officer for eight years, but ultimately quit to focus on music again.
Eventually, Rose would find herself competing in season 17 of The Voice. During the Top 8 performances on The Voice, Rose blew away coach John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton with her rendition of "I Want to Know What Love Is." Rose is currently a full-time musician writing and performing her own music. And now, you can hear her work live during the Rose Short Experience Tour! Rose is bringing along her incredibly talented friends Katie Kadan and Killeen from The Voice for a show that will leave audiences breathless. The Rose Short Experience Tour will visit the Victoria Community Center this Saturday, March 14th. Tickets start at $20.00 and are available online at www.eventbrite.com. Don’t miss out on this fun evening of music!
